About
Westfield Barn located in beautiful Cashel , Co. Tipperary, offers a unique farm stay experience on a bustling working dairy farm. Home to 240 Friesian cows, the farm is alive with activity, providing guests with an authentic rural experience. Visiting during springtime is particularly special, as you can watch adorable calves in the sheds from your bedroom window. The Ryan family, originally from Tipperary, moved back from Dublin in 1993 and transformed the farm from beef to dairy.
Realising the beauty of the original stone, the family saw the potential to do more with the space. The original beams were also preserved dating from 1856 and also the front tiles on the roof. An old arch beside the barn was restored after a little tip from a tractor years ago, enhancing the beauty of the walled garden. The Spa and The Tipsy Cow bar are housed in old calving sheds. A window was added to the Spa and on a clear day it provides a beautiful view of the Galtee Mountains.
Westfield Barn is a charming and immersive getaway for anyone looking to experience the charm and tranquility of Irish countryside life.
